Cookie Policy
This page explains how cookies and similar technologies are used on this website.
The short version
This website sets no advertising cookies, no third-party tracking cookies, and no analytics cookies. There is nothing to opt into, which is why you are not being shown a consent banner.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website can store in your browser, usually to remember a preference or to recognise you across visits. They can also be used to follow people between sites for advertising, which is the use most consent banners exist to cover.
What this site uses
These pages are statically generated and served without a session. No cookie is required to read them, and none is set when you browse.
Submitting the contact form sends the details you typed to our servers so we can reply. That request does not create a cookie or a browser-stored identifier.
Fonts are served from Google Fonts and are self-hosted at build time by our framework, so loading a page does not send a request to Google from your browser.
The CivicCore app and dashboard
This policy covers this marketing website only. The admin dashboard uses a stored authentication token to keep staff signed in, and the mobile app stores its session and cached PIN in your device's secure storage. Both are described in our Privacy Policy rather than here, since neither relies on browser cookies for tracking.
Controlling cookies
Every major browser lets you view and delete stored cookies and block them entirely. Because this site does not depend on cookies, blocking them will not affect how it works.
Changes
If we ever introduce analytics or another technology that stores data in your browser, we will update this page and add a consent mechanism before turning it on.
